The PVC special-shaped card can encapsulate the chip. Commonly used are IC special-shaped cards, ID special-shaped cards, combined by ultrasonic welding, with various shapes, and chips can be selected: EM chip, MF chip, Temic chip, Atmel chip, ST chip, TK chip, etc. The special-shaped card is more difficult than the standard card, and the delivery time is also longer. The standard card punching machine uses an automatic punching machine, which is much more complicated than the standard card in the punching process of the special-shaped card. First of all, the abrasive tool should be produced according to the customer’s special-shaped card specifications. After the PVC material is printed and pressed, it needs to be manually punched one by one manually. Compared with the automatic card punching machine, the production process of the special-shaped card is quite labor-intensive. The cost of making a special-shaped card is much higher than that of a standard card.
ABS special-shaped cards, cards of this material are generally made into mother and daughter cards, one large and one small. Common ones are shopping mall promotional cards, membership cards, shopping cards, etc. ABS special-shaped cards can also encapsulate chips, but this kind of card is made of high temperature resistant and environmentally friendly materials, so it seldom encapsulates chips except for parking lot or highway toll cards. Usually it’s a barcode. At present, the mother and daughter cards used in many shopping malls use barcodes as information carriers.
PET special-shaped card, we have also introduced PET in other products. Such materials are also high temperature resistant materials. Common PET special-shaped cards are widely used in access control, parking lots, highways, and airport access fields.
Process details:
1. Glossy card: Glossy membership card production is the simplest and most common. It can be divided into screen printing, offset printing and offset printing after screen printing. Hot stamping, magnetic stripe, barcode and signature strip can be added to the silk-screen, offset and glue-gloss membership card production after silk-screen printing. The variety and craftsmanship of the PVC card is also the same as that of the glossy card, only the difference in appearance and feel
2. Frosted card: The production of frosted membership card is similar to that of glossy membership card: only the difference between time sheet lamination and frosted lamination is in the synthesis, and frosted card cannot be added with bronzing, magnetic stripe, barcode and other processes
3. Transparent card: The transparent membership card is made of transparent pvc material and can also be divided into silk screen printing, offset printing and offset printing after screen printing. Hot stamping, magnetic stripe, barcode and signature strip can be added to the silk-screen, offset and glue-gloss membership card production after silk-screen printing. Transparent cards are better than glossy cards in terms of look and feel.
4. Matte card: The production of a matte membership card is similar to that of a glossy card. Only a layer of sub-film is covered on the surface of the glossy card, and the matte card looks neither as bright as the glossy card nor as rough as the frosted card.
